How to Turn on Gmail Notification

Your G-mee Connect and Plus come preloaded with Gmail, however the notifications by default are turned off. This is a decision made by Google, and turning the notifications on is easy, as long as you know how!

In this blog, had a switch on Gmail notifications.

You will need to access both ‘Inbox Notifications’ and ‘Manage Notifications’.

Inbox notifications, allows you to select both label notifications and notify for every message.

Manage notifications, allows you to activate show notifications. You also need to decide on a behaviour, we chose ‘make sound’. You can also choose to activate the vibration setting and whether you want the message shown on the screen while it is locked.

You can play around with the exact configurations that work best for you. When you receive an email, you will at least now be able to see the small email icon on the top of the screen and hear an audible alert.

G-mee Connect Update – There’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

We just wanted to reach out and let you know the latest regarding your G-mee Connect pre-order.

Unfortunately, we hit a bump in our production due to the outbreak of the coronavirus around the world and a number of factories in China have gone through a shutdown period to prevent any risk to the people working in them.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel!

We understand our factory will be operational from Monday, and we will have a new delivery date to share with you next week!

At this stage, that date looks to be around mid to late March.

We are still working to confirm this date and will share with you as soon as we know more information.

We apologise for the delay, and our Customer Support Team is available to answer any further questions you might have.

As always, we are here for you.
